  13. 20 shrimp (more if you want)

  1. Add oil to IP and add W cumin. Fry the fir for 1 minute, then add the onions and fry for 4/5 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
  2. Now onions, spices and tomatoes are prepared.
  3. Add soaked rice, water and shrimp in IP mode in rice mode, default 12 minutes.
  4. Fan it as soon as it's ready to make sure it's cooked through. If necessary, close the lid and cook for ten minutes, as the IP will remain very hot. Serve raw, with salad or curry.
  5. #tip IP When adjusting the rice settings, the pressure first increases and then counts 12 minutes, I usually cook a couple of 6 minutes to check if the rice needs more water or longer to cook. For this recipe, I let it steep for another 6 minutes (that's a full 12 minutes) and then I simmer it for 5 minutes. The IP will return to the low position after the cook time has elapsed.
