Instructions to make to make Pav Bhaji

  1. In a large pan heat 1 tbsp butter.
  2. Add chopped vegetables.
  3. Add salt and water.
  4. Cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Mash vegetables well with masher or ladle.
  6. Heat butter and add chilli powder, turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala and kasuri methi.
  7. Then add 1 tbsp coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, chopped onion and lemon juice.
  8. Saute well.
  9. Now add 3 drops of red food colour and mix well.
  10. Heat butter in pan.
  11. Cut pav from middle.
  12. Toast pav from both sides.
  13. Transfer bhaji in serving bowl.
  14. Garnish with fried peas, chopped coriander leaves and dollop of butter.
  15. Finally, serve pav and bhaji as pav bhaji with onion slices and lemon.
