  11. 1 small boiled / grilled beetroot
  12. 1-1/2 tbsp tahini paste
  13. 1-2 tbsp yogurt
  14. 2-3 garlic pods
  15. 1/2 inch ginger
  16. 3-4 tbsp olive oil
  17. to taste Salt
  18. For Avocado hummus
  19. 1 cup (heaped) boiled Chickpea (kabuli channa)
  20. 1 medium size ripe avocado pulled & pitted
  21. 2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
  22. 1 tsp Tahini paste
  23. 1 Green chilli
  24. 1-2 tbsp yogurt
  25. To taste Salt
  26. 3-4 tsp Oil
  27. 1 inch Ginger
  28. 2-3 Garlic cloves

Instructions to make to make Tricolor Hummus

  1. For Normal Hummus:
    1. Chop ginger, garlic & chickpea in chopper. This will help in grinding the paste nicely in mixer

    2. In mixer add chopped ginger, garlic, chickpea, tahini paste,olive oil, salt & little yogurt & grind it to make a thick paste. After grinding add olive oil & whisk it nicely. Serve with pita bread / normal & multigrain khaboose.
  2. For Beetroot Hummus
    In mixer add chopped ginger, garlic, chickpea, grated beetroot, tahini paste,olive oil, salt & little yogurt & grind it to make a thick paste. After grinding add olive oil & whisk it nicely. Serve with pita bread / normal & multigrain khaboose.
  3. For Avocado Hummus
    In mixer add chopped ginger, garlic, chickpea, avocado, coriander, chilli tahini paste,olive oil, salt & little yogurt & grind it to make a thick paste. After grinding add olive oil & whisk it nicely. Serve with pita bread / normal & multigrain khaboose.
  4. When you boil chickpea put salt &
    boil. Drain & keep separate for 1
    hour so there is no water left& you
    will get good texture of hummus
    when you grind
    2. If you don't like garlic you can avoid
    it. If u want to add lemon then
    avoid yogurt. With lemon juice
    hummus spoil soon but with
    yogurt you can enjoy 2-3 days.
    Store in refrigerator
    3. Don't grind the hummus in to fine
    paste it should be little course then
    you will enjoy more
